How to Create Tasks and Reminders for a Specific Contact in B2B Hub

Step 1: Accessing the Contact Record

  • Start by logging into your B2B Hub account.

  • Once you're logged in, navigate to the left-hand panel and click on "Leads." This is where you can access your contact list.

  • Locate and click on the name of the contact for whom you want to create a task or reminder. This action will open the contact record detail screen.

Step 2: Adding a New Task

  • On the right-hand side of the contact record detail screen, you'll find a dedicated area for tasks. Hover your mouse over the "Add a New Task" button until it turns green, indicating that you can click on it.

  • Click on the "Add a New Task" button to begin creating your task or reminder.

Step 3: Task Details

  • Start by giving the task a name that clearly describes what you need to do. For instance, you can write something like "Call James to close the deal and take the credit card."

  • Optionally, you can set the task's priority. In this case, it's labeled as important and urgent, but you can customize the priority settings to suit your needs.

  • Choose a due date for the task. You can set it for a specific date and time. In the example, the task is scheduled for a week from the current date, on the 13th, at 10 o'clock in the morning.

  • Select the date and time that best aligns with your task, considering any prior agreements or commitments you may have with the contact.

Step 4: Saving the Task

  • After filling in the task details, click the "Add New Task" button to save it. Once you do this, the task will appear on the right-hand side of the contact record, along with the start date and time.

Step 5: Managing Tasks

  • To mark a task as completed, hover over the task and click the tick button. This action moves the task to the "Done" section.


NOTE: If you neglect to complete a task on time, it will be listed as "Overdue," and B2B Hub will prompt you to complete it.
